When Guides of the 1st Quebec Division in Montreal first camped on the shores of Lac St Louis (Lac Bouchette) on July 5, 1926, they brought with them enthusiasm, a love of nature and the results of sixteen years guide camping experience. (excerpt Camp Wa-Thik-Ane 75th anniversary booklet)

Camp Peaceful Waters – Eaux Tranquilles has gone through many changes in its long and storied existence, including most recently a significant name change! Soon we are about to embark on our second hundred years and there is so much more to come!

In 2026, Camp Peaceful Waters – Eaux Tranquilles will celebrate her 100th anniversary. 

Keep an eye out for exciting opportunities including the Mosaic Art project, Centennial Challenge 100 and Postcards to Camp Peaceful Waters- Eaux Tranquilles. 

Celebrations will be topped off by Voila Quebec 100 in July 2026, an Alumni Event October 3, 2026 and finally the Celebration Day for all members on October 4, 2026.
