The Taking Up Space Challenge aims to empower girls and young women to embrace their power, assert their presence, and confidently take on leadership roles. This challenge encourages participants to take up space in all areas of their lives, from speaking up in group settings to advocating for causes they care about. Through developing self-expression, communication and leadership skills, girls will learn to trust their voices, stand firm in their beliefs and create positive change in their communities.
By completing the challenge, participants will gain the confidence to be bold, lead with purpose and ensure their voices are valued and heard.
This challenge can be completed over more than one meeting (as many as you like). It is easily tracked and adapted on the program platform. All branches for activities and program areas are suggestions – please modify them as you see fit.
