Purpose: To provide financial assistance to members residing in Nunavut to attend events, trainings and/or camps sponsored by Girl Guides of Canada or a Girl Guides of Canada provincial council. Assistance includes event fees, air travel, bus, train, car rental and private vehicles gas receipts.
Eligibility: Must be a registered member with a Nunavut unit and have proof of registration.
Funds: Amount to be determined by the Ontario Council Provincial Commissioner and Treasurer based on funding available from the Unit Support Fund, with participants required to pay a minimum of 25% of the total cost of the trip.
Application deadline and requirements: The application with supporting documentation is required up to 30 days after approval for the trip has been submitted.
