Girl Guides is a place where friendships, adventures and real-life experiences are waiting to be found.
In Girl Guides, girls ages 5-17 will explore fun kids activities designed just for them. They’ll have a blast making new friends, discovering the world and taking on community projects.
With a range of fun kids activities, Girl Guides is a safe space for her to be curious, adventurous, and confident.
Girl Guide units typically run from fall until late spring.

Girls will join a unit made up of girls around the same age. Together with their dedicated volunteer leader, girls can decide what fun kids activities they will try.
Did you know? Girls can earn up to 32 badges at each branch level for the new skills they learn and fun activities they complete.
Sparks go on scavenger hunts, make healthy snacks and visit local landmarks.
Embers learn about healthy relationships, do community service projects and how to cook a marshmallow over the fire.
Guides learn about online safety, plan tree-planting projects and begin to discover their leadership style.
Pathfinders take part in rafting trips and lead the next generation of girls in Guiding.
Rangers get to go on overnight canoe trips and learn important life skills like how to budget and write a resume.

A. The Guiding year, which runs weekly throughout the school year, costs below $200 per year, plus possible uniform costs and additional activity fees. This is an excellent value considering all of the fun activities, new experiences and unit meetings she’ll get to take part in! Find the exact price for your local unit using our unit finder. You can register now for the 2023-2024 Guiding year. Units will start meeting in the fall, usually in September.
A. Girls ages 5-17* can register for Guiding! She will join a unit of girls around her age and explore fun activities. *Girls who are turning 5 before December 31, 2023 can register now! Girls turning 5 after January 1, 2024 can register on or after their birthday.
A. Guiding is a safe space where girls and young women can be themselves, take on new challenges, put their ideas into action, take part in an amazing range of activities, and gain the skills to confidently navigate their world.
