World Thinking Day 2019

Each year on February 22, Member Organizations of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) celebrate World Thinking Day.  World Thinking Day is a special day to reflect on our global sisterhood in Guiding and to think about issues that are important to girls and women around the world.

This year's World Thinking Day theme is Leadership. It is dedicated to the group of girls who took the lead in 1909 and demanded Lord Baden-Powell create 'something for the girls'. Through the WAGGGS challenge, you will learn about the history of our movement, and practice leadership through the chances and choices of our present and future. Be prepared for an exciting adventure!
