Accessing
ONLine With Less Difficulty
If you are experiencing any of the following issues with ONLine:
• e-mail links not working
• frozen or hanging screen
• inability to scroll through the web page
• password rejection on MemberZone
We recommend that you consider downloading the web browser FIREFOX 2. Mozilla
Firefox is available cost-free @ http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ .
The Firefox browser appears to have fewer vulnerabilities and should make your
ONLine experience, faster with less difficulty than IE Explorer and Safari browsers.
Accessing
ONLine PDF Downloads
Archived issues of ONLine are always available on our website @ http://guidesontario.org/formembers/newspublications.htm.
These issues are in PDF format, which is the universal portable document format
that allows any user to view, download and print a document exactly as it was
intended. If you are experiencing any of the following issues when downloading
our ONLine PDF’s:
• frozen or hanging screen
• system reboot
• blank or missing pages
• black pages
we recommend that you consider upgrading your Adobe Acrobat Reader to the latest
version (8.1.2) @ http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
It is also cost free and will solve the issues described here.
Where Oh Where are the Forms?
You will find many forms such as membership, first aid subsidy, campership and
requests for e-Learning PIN numbers for Safe Guide and Orientation trainings
on the Ontario Council website, under For Our Member, Forms (http://www.guidesontario.org/formembers/forms.htm)

Manual and Safe Guide process information can be found

the Ontario Section of the Member Area (you will need
your iMIS number and your password to access). Many handy
tips on accessing information can be found in past issues
of ONLine which are stored on the Ontario Council website,
