A brief description of the Cookie
Receiver Responsibilities regarding deliveries:
1. The Cookie Receiver must have a location where cookies
can be stored in a clean, cool environment.
2. The Cookie Receiver must be available from 9:00am
- 5:00pm to accept the delivery, as we are given no set
time as to when the delivery will occur.
3. Once the delivery arrives the Cookie Receiver is responsible
for ensuring that no cases are damaged and that the correct
number is delivered. Cases must be thoroughly inspected
and counted before Delivery Company leaves location.
4. When Units come to receive their cookies, the Cookie
Receiver will be provided with a document that requires
all Unit signatures upon pick-up. The Cookie Receiver
is responsible for completing and returning this form
to Province in a timely manner.
5. The Cookie Receiver must be willing hold the cases
of cookies for 3-4 days, in case some Units are unable
to pick-up the first day of delivery.
Please note that a Cookie Receiver does not have to be
an active Guider, we have husbands, family friends, and
local business owners that assist with deliveries each
campaign.
Should you or anyone you know be willing to help with cookie
delivery in the fall, please forward the following information
to Lynda Chapple at cookie.adviser@guidesontario.org
