Come
to Camp Ma-Kee-Wa!
Looking
for a place to camp? Camp Ma-Kee-Wa
is located northwest of Toronto, about 20 minutes
east of Orangeville, near the town of Mono Mills.
With 6 indoor and 6 outdoor sites, there is something
for everyone. The camp is located on 100 acres
of rolling hills and is close to the Bruce Trail
and many other attractions.
Looking for an opportunity for service? Families, Guiders, and other volunteers
are welcome to help on Saturday, lunch will be provided. Take part in
our work weekends and get free rental of a site! Our next work weekend will
be April 25 – 27,
2008 and sites are being booked quickly.
Want
a tour of the camp? Come to our Open
House, to be held on Sunday, April 27 from 1 – 4
p.m. Tours at other times can be arranged.
Planning
for the summer? Consider spending some
time at Ma-Kee-Wa. We have a recently renovated
pool for those hot summer days. Special arrangements
can be made for large group and long-term bookings.
Do
you have lots of fond memories of the camp? Consider
being part of a specialty community to plan events
for our 50th anniversary in 2009.
Live
near the camp? We are looking for local
people to be part of the Local Property Extreme
Specialty Community. Let us know if you are interested.
