Brownies is a two-year program for 7 and 8-year-olds. Girls meet on a weekly basis, usually for 1 1/2 hours, in groups of about 18 to 24. There are at least two Guiders present in each unit.
The Brownie program is an experience-based, developmentally appropriate program for this age group, and above all, fun for the girls. It is based on the premise that girls learn best by doing.
