Orientation to Guiding Module

One of the steps in adult screening is to read Orientation to Guiding.

The Accessible Customer Service section of the document includes training content required by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. It describes GGC's commitment to serving its members, non-member volunteers, parents/guardians, employees and customers with disabilities, and GGC's expectations of you as an adult member.

As part of the legislation, GGC is required to report that our volunteers have received and read the Accessible Customer Service section.

There are 2 parts to completing this step of your screening:
    Part 1 is to read Orientation to Guiding. This will require you to login to Member Zone. If this is your first time accessing Member Zone, select the option ‘First time user – Activate your account’ to create your login.

    If you are a new member, part 2 will be to review the Orientation to Guiding content when you participate in your screening interview.

    If you are a returning member or a youth transitioning to adult member, or, have been requested to do so, part 2 is to attest that you have read the document.
